Job Requirements

• Active RN license
• At least 1 year of nursing experience required; PACU, Pre-Op, recovery room, or perioperative experience strongly preferred
• Strong Phase II recovery skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced surgical and outpatient healthcare environment
• Excellent assessment skills and attention to detail
• Comfortable with shared on-call coverage

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality PACU nursing care to patients recovering from anesthesia and surgical procedures
• Monitor patients for post-anesthesia and post-operative complications
• Deliver perioperative education and individualized patient support
• Float as needed within the outpatient services area, including Day Surgery, Endoscopy, Pre-Op, and related hospital needs
• Support conscious sedation cases for special procedures
• Collaborate with the surgical and recovery team to ensure safe, efficient patient flow
