As demand across several long-standing programs continues to grow, they are looking to add a Linux Systems Administrator to their Fairfax, VA team. This is an opportunity to work within a large-scale enterprise environment supporting infrastructure that underpins some of the most technically challenging and important missions. The role offers exposure to both traditional enterprise platforms and modern cloud-native technologies, making it ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex infrastructure problems while continuing to develop their technical skillset. Responsibilites Administering and supporting enterprise Linux environments Maintaining infrastructure across physical, virtual and cloud-based platforms Managing operating system upgrades, patching and security remediation Monitoring system performance, availability and capacity Troubleshooting hardware, operating system and network-related issues Supporting application deployments and infrastructure enhancements Building, testing and validating new server environments Working closely with engineering teams to improve automation, reliability and scalability What We're Looking For Experience supporting enterprise-scale infrastructure environments Scripting and automation skills using Bash, Python or similar Understanding of networking fundamentals including switching, subnets and VLANs Experience working with virtualized environments Knowledge of system security, hardening and vulnerability remediation Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities Security+ or CISSP certification Kubernetes, Docker or containerized environments Cloud platforms and cloud-native architectures Puppet, GitLab or other configuration management tools GPFS / IBM ESS Directory services administration Enterprise storage technologies including SAN and Fibre Channel Clearance Requirement Applicants must hold an active TS clearance with SCI eligibility .
