Job Type: Direct Hire / Full-Time
Schedule: Monday–Friday, Day Shift
Hours: 8 hours/day
Compensation: $76,000–$95,000 annually / $36.60–$45.00 per hour, based on education and experience
Relocation Assistance: Up to $5,000

Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide pediatric occupational therapy services primarily to children ages 0–3 years enrolled in the Infant Child Development (ICD) program.

The Occupational Therapist will evaluate children with developmental delays or deficits and develop individualized treatment plans to improve activities of daily living, play skills, neuromuscular function, sensory integration, cognitive abilities, and psychosocial development.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations and assessments.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on each child's developmental and functional needs.
• Provide occupational therapy interventions to pediatric patients, primarily ages 0–3.
• Address developmental delays involving activities of daily living, play, sensory integration, neuromuscular skills, cognition, and psychosocial abilities.
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate.
• Provide education and guidance to families and caregivers.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, educators, and other members of the interdisciplinary team.
• Provide consultation and recommendations regarding developmental and functional needs.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Participate in discharge and transition planning.
• Promote family-centered and patient-centered care.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Therapy required.
• Active Kansas Occupational Therapy License required.
• Valid Kansas Driver's License required.
• BLS/CPR certification required.
• Strong communication, organizational, and clinical assessment skills.
• Ability to work effectively with young children and their families.

Preferred Qualifications

• 1 year of pediatric occupational therapy experience preferred.
• Experience working with infants and toddlers is a plus.
• Experience with developmental delays, sensory integration, and pediatric rehabilitation preferred.

Certification Requirements

• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• CPR
• BLS may be completed within the first 90 days of employment if applicable.
