Robot OperatorThe Robot Operator is responsible for setting up and operating robotic welding equipment according to established procedures. This role requires interpreting blueprints and drawings, adjusting robot settings to specifications, and ensuring accurate, quality production.Essential ResponsibilitiesReview work orders and shop drawings to confirm dimensions and material availabilitySet up workstations, fixtures, and robotic welding equipmentPerform dry runs on initial pieces to verify accuracyOperate the robotic welding system to complete production jobsInspect completed work and sign off on operationsKnowledge, Skills & AbilitiesAbility to read and interpret shop drawingsBasic math skills and experience using measuring toolsFamiliarity with robotic welding equipmentAbility to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple tasksEffective verbal and written communication skillsAbility to stand for extended periodsAbility to lift, push, and pull up to 25lbs unassistedWork EnvironmentTypical machine shop environmentWillingness to work additional hours as neededWillingness to be cross trained on multiple machinesMinimum Qualifications5 YEARS EXPERIENCE - MINIMUMHigh school diploma or GEDExperience in a shop environment with robotic and plasma cutting equipmentFamiliarity with robot control panels; forklift and overhead crane experience preferredJoin our team and build a rewarding career where your contributions are valued and your growth is supported.
