Creating and delivering the worlds finest aviation experience starts with our peopleand when our people thrive, so does our mission.Why GulfstreamCompetitive salaryComprehensive benefits packageGenerous paid time offOpportunity to work on world-class business jets with cutting-edge avionics systemsA culture built on safety, quality, and continuous improvementCareer growth supported by training to potentially including A&P fast track program, mentorship, and advancement opportunitiesWhat You Will DoProvide advanced technical expertise in testing, troubleshooting, and repairing avionics and aircraft electrical systemsPerform operational and functional testing to ensure defect-free aircraft deliveryInstall and functionally test avionics/electrical components per engineering specs, drawings, and manualsLead troubleshooting efforts and mentor team members on diagnostics and repair techniquesRepair or replace defective wiring and components using approved methods (splicing, soldering, pinning)Set up and operate test equipment to verify system performance and reliabilityEnsure all work meets conformity standards and is fully documented in logs and required paperworkSupport engineering changes and modifications while maintaining safety and quality standardsPre-inspect work to reduce rework and improve efficiencyEnforce FOD, tool control, 5S, and all safety programsCoordinate across disciplines to meet production schedules and adapt to changing prioritiesSupport final phase testing and certification, including potential aircraft flight testsWhat You Will BringHigh School Diploma or GED required5 years of experience in an avionics/electrical field (2 years of accredited aviation electronics schooling may offset experience)Strong experience troubleshooting avionics and aircraft electrical systems requiredBusiness jet avionics troubleshooting experience preferredA&P license, FCC license, or NCATT certification preferredAbility to read and interpret blueprints and schematic diagramsStrong working knowledge of avionics systems and, preferably, other aircraft systems (hydraulics, flight controls, landing gear, environmental systems)APU and engine run qualifications preferredProven ability to mentor others and lead technical problem-solving effortsMust be able to read, write, speak, and understand EnglishMust be able to work any shiftTake your expertise to the next level and be part of a team committed to excellence.
