Per Diem Certified Prosthetist/Orthotist

We currently have an opportunity available for a Per Diem Certified Prosthetist/Orthotist to join our Pediatric Orthotics and Prosthetics team. This position is responsible for fabricating a variety of orthoses for inpatients and outpatients as prescribed by the medical staff, measuring and fitting patients for appropriate orthoses, and serving as a resource to staff regarding assigned areas of responsibility.

Schedule: Per Diem

*The pay range for this position is $48.70/hr. - $73.05/hr. Compensation is determined based on years of experience and departmental equity.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate specific orthoses and prostheses for inpatients and outpatients utilizing a variety of technical skills and knowledge
• Provide appropriate direct patient care in a clinical setting under direction of the Orthotics/Prosthetics Manager and within established procedures
• Performs a variety of administrative and operational support functions for department and according to patient needs
• Expectations regarding policies and procedures of department, hospital and professional interaction

Qualifications

Required:

• 1 year Orthotist, certified
• 1 year Prosthetics
• American Board for Certification and Prosthetics
• Board for Orthotist/Prosthetist Certification (BOC)
