The Emergency Room RN is responsible for the protection, promotion, and optimization of health and well-being, prevention of illness and injury, alleviation of suffering through the diagnosis and treatment of human response, and advocacy in the care of individuals, families, communities, and populations.
Education and Experience Requirements
EDUCATION:
Required: Associates Degree in Nursing
Preferred: Bachelors Degree in Nursing
LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS:
Required: Valid Iowa Nursing license or from a reciprocating state
BLSACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NRP within one year of hire
Preferred: Certification by accredited body in area of most experience
Shift: Nights, rotating weekends
Specialty Type: Nursing
Sub Specialties: Emergency Room Nurse
