Medical Surgical Unit - Travel Registered Nurse

Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 12 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience worked in the last 12 months.

• Experience with Cerner is preferred.

• 12 months of acute care experience.

• ADN completion required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Montana license or compact license (required for submission).

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <60 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• No current placement allowed at Program: HealthTrust Program - LifePoint Health.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: - NG tube placement and management - Foley placement and management - Chest tube maintenance

Preferred Credentials: - Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred.

Unit Details: - Adult and geriatric patient population. - Common diagnoses/treatments include small bowel obstructions, diabetic complications, wound care, acute kidney injury, pneumonia, and sepsis.

Shift & Scheduling: - Every third weekend. - No call.

Floating Requirements: - Floating as appropriate to experience.

14 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 2 years

Driver’s license required

Certifications:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

• NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale)

• HWC (Handle With Care)
