Description - What You'll Do

• Conduct a variety of essential clinical laboratory tests-including chemistry, hematology, and immunology-while adhering to strict protocols.
• Ensure accuracy in test results, identify and resolve errors, and maintain lab equipment through regular maintenance and calibration.
• Participate in specimen collection and the preparation of samples as required.
• Document all laboratory procedures thoroughly, assist with training new staff or students, and help maintain high laboratory quality standards.
• Uphold a clean and safe laboratory environment, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and accreditation standards.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent credential in allied health, with preparation for ASCP or AMT certification.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be obtained within one year from hire date.
• Maintain certification throughout your employment.
