Job Title: Shipping and Receiving Coordinator
Job Description
The Shipping and Receiving Coordinator operates material handling equipment to load and unload shipments, accurately picks and packages orders for daily shipments, and manages inbound and outbound freight activities. This role ensures inventory accuracy, maintains production standards, and supports general warehouse operations in a fast-paced, modern facility.
Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts, hand trucks, and reach trucks to safely load and unload shipment containers.
• Replenish stock on shelves and pick parts as needed to support production and order fulfillment.
• Effectively and efficiently pick and package customer orders to meet daily shipping schedules.
• Coordinate freight pickups and deliveries with approved freight carriers to ensure on-time shipments.
• Receive replenishment shipments and verify accuracy between goods received and purchase orders.
• Monitor stock and inventory levels and report discrepancies or issues promptly.
• Participate in physical inventory counts and cycle counts as needed to maintain accurate records.
• Use RF scanners to process inbound and outbound materials and update system records.
• Process shipments using carrier systems such as FedEx and UPS in alignment with company procedures.

Work Environment
This role operates on a first-shift schedule, Monday through Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The position is based in a brand-new, state-of-the-art building in Hoffman, providing a clean, modern, and well-organized warehouse environment. Daily work involves operating forklifts, hand trucks, reach trucks, overhead cranes, and RF scanners, as well as using SAP ERP and carrier systems such as FedEx and UPS. The role is hands-on and physically active, requiring regular movement around the warehouse and interaction with materials and equipment throughout the shift.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hoffman Estates, IL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
