Physical Therapist

Full-time Physical Therapist wanted for busy, independent, centrally located physical therapy office in Canandaigua, NY. We are looking for a physical therapist who has an exceptional evaluation and assessment skills and can devise creative and effective treatment plans. Over time we are hoping to find the right fit for the eventual purchase of the practice. Our long-term plan includes gradual investment that will, in turn, lead to future ownership. Our office is a positive-thinking and high energy practice that requires cooperative teamwork and patient-focused care. We are looking for a physical therapist that loves motivating patients and helping to ease their pain through the development of patient-specific treatment plans.

Focus includes evaluation and treatment of the following:

• Orthopedics including the Spine
• Sports injuries
• Vertigo
• TMD
• Men’s and Women’s Health experience preferred but not required

Essential job requirements include:

• Manual therapy skills
• Self-care patient education
• Communicating and collaborating with lead therapist who has over 35 years’ experience
• Coordinating with patient’s physician to ensure consistent care
• Use independent judgement to develop treatment plans that are effective and manageable
• Evaluate and report on patient’s progress
• Assist administrative staff with billing and reporting inquiries
• Comply with federal and state physical therapy guidelines
• 5+ years’ full-time professional physical therapy experience
• Valid NYS physical therapy license
• Exceptional work ethic and dedication to patient success
• Basic computer skills
• Contributing to team effort to accomplish goals
