Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology or related field
- Valid licensure or certification as a School Psychologist
- Proven experience conducting student evaluations, psychological testing, and assessments
- Strong background in developing and implementing student intervention strategies
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work in multidisciplinary teams
- Experience with special education services and IEP development is highly valued
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer standardized tests and complete comprehensive student evaluations
- Participate in eligibility, IEP, and team meetings, offering expertise and recommendations
- Consult with families, teachers, and support staff to create action plans addressing diverse student needs
- Provide short-term counseling and crisis intervention as needed
- Maintain thorough documentation and ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines
