Human Resources Associate

A law firm in Manhattan is seeking a Human Resources Associate for a temporary to permanent opportunity. This role is ideal for a candidate with 1-4 years of experience in recruiting and human resources, preferably within a law firm or other professional services environment.
Pay: $36-41/hr.
Hours: 9am-5pm
Hybrid schedule Mon-Thurs onsite, Fridays remote
Responsibilities:
- Manage recruitment activities, including candidate sourcing, interviews, and onboarding processes.
- Provide support for employee benefits inquiries and resolve related concerns.
- Update and maintain HR policies and procedures to align with organizational standards.
- Coordinate team-building events and activities to enhance employee engagement.
- Collaborate with managers to address HR-related issues and provide solutions.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations in all HR practices.
- Support hybrid work arrangements, balancing remote and on-site work effectively.
- Assist in the transition from temporary to permanent employment for eligible candidates.
Requirements:
- Bachelor degree in Human Resources or related field required.
- Minimum 1 year of HR experience, with 4 years preferred.
- Experience in recruitment within professional services or staffing firms is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of employee benefits administration and HR policy updates.
- Strong organizational skills to coordinate team-building events and activities.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid work environment.
- Excellent communication skills for addressing employee inquiries and collaborating with teams.
- Familiarity with employment laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
