Overview
Registered Nurse – OR travel assignment in San Luis Obispo, California. Start date 09/07/2026 for 10 weeks. Weekly pay range $2,517-$2,663 per week. Shift: 5x8 Rotating. Travel - Temporary Assignment in a hospital setting. This opening is with Healthforce Healthcare LLC.

Responsibilities
- Assist surgeons and anesthesiologists and coordinate flow of equipment, supplies, and staff during a surgical procedure
- Maintain patient safety throughout the perioperative phase of care
- Participate in patient care planning, assessment, and nursing treatment
- Monitor and document perioperative care, and communicate with the surgical team
- Support sterile technique and ensure readiness of room and instruments for procedures

Requirements
- Active California RN license (or eligibility)
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN)
- Perioperative or operating room nursing experience or demonstrated competency in surgical nursing
- Ability to work rotating 5x8 shifts in an OR environment
- BLS certification (American Heart Association) or equivalent
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
