Overview:
East Houston Me are seeking a dedicated and energetic Registered Nurse with ICU / IMU/ Emergency experience to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this role, you will provide exceptional patient care across various acute and critical care settings to pediatric, adolescent and geriatrics' pateint's. Your expertise will support complex medical procedures, patient assessments, and collaborative care plans, making a meaningful difference in patients’ recovery journeys. Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in ER, intensive care units (ICU) and inpatient medical units (IMU), including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and managing ventilators.
• Perform detailed patient assessments, interpret diagnostic tests such as laboratory results and imaging studies, recognizes clinically significant cardiac changes, abnormal vital signs trends, oxygenation concerns.
• Assist with complex procedures including catheterization, suturing, IV infusion, dialysis management, and airway management to support patient stability and recovery.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans that incorporate pain management, infection control, trauma medicine, and specialty areas such as cardiology or infectious disease care.
• Ensure strict adherence to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols while maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations for patient privacy.
• Provide education to patients and their families on post-discharge care, medication administration, wound care including ostomy management, and chronic disease management such as geriatrics or long-term care needs.
• Participate in triage assessments in emergency or urgent care settings to prioritize patient needs efficiently while supporting hospital protocols aligned with NCQA standards.
• Able to conduct nursing assessments.
• Willingly assists with other duties when asked

PAY RANGE ~ BASED ON EXPERIENCE $58 - $68
