Associate Android Developer

ResMed seeks an Associate Android Developer to build features for the myAir application in San Diego. The role offers mentorship and structured onboarding for early-career developers eager to grow expertise in modern Android development within a collaborative product team.
Responsibilities
- Develop Android features using Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, and MVVM architecture patterns
- Collaborate with product, design, backend, and mobile engineering teams on feature delivery
- Write clean, testable, maintainable code following established engineering practices
- Identify and resolve production issues, performance bottlenecks, and application crashes
- Create and maintain unit tests and automated tests to support application quality
Requirements
- Android application development experience using modern practices
- Kotlin proficiency or Java experience
- Understanding of Android architecture patterns like MVVM
- Knowledge of RESTful APIs and networking concepts
- Familiarity with Git-based version control workflows
- Understanding of concurrency, asynchronous programming, and coroutines
- Genuine interest in mobile development and continuous learning
Compensation: $90,000 - $136,000 USD annual
