X-Ray Technologist

Urgent Team is seeking a skilled and patient-focused X-Ray Technologist to join our Healthcare & Medical Services team. As an X-Ray Technologist in our urgent care environment, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, efficient diagnostic imaging that supports timely clinical decision-making and exceptional patient outcomes. You will work hands-on with patients of all ages, performing routine and urgent radiographic exams in a fast-paced setting while maintaining the highest standards of safety, accuracy, and compassion. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and positioning patients for radiographic procedures, operating digital X-ray equipment, and producing diagnostic-quality images according to provider orders and established protocols. You will ensure adherence to ALARA principles and all radiation safety guidelines, appropriately shielding patients and yourself, verifying patient identity, and confirming exam orders prior to imaging. You will accurately document procedures, enter data into the electronic medical record and imaging systems, and communicate critical findings or concerns to providers and clinical staff. Working closely with physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, and front-desk teammates, you will contribute to a collaborative and supportive care environment. You may assist with basic clinical tasks that support patient flow, such as obtaining vital signs, rooming patients, helping with splinting or immobilization as directed, and maintaining clean, stocked imaging and exam areas. You will participate in routine quality control checks on imaging equipment, report any malfunctions, and follow infection prevention protocols, including proper use of PPE, disinfection of equipment and surfaces, and safe handling of bodily fluids.
