Pay: $22-$32 per hour based on experience, paid biweekly

Schedule: weekday after school and early evening hours, the same days each week

Setting: in home, one on one, in the Middletown/Keansburg, NJ area

About the role

One Step Forward is hiring an experienced ABA Therapist / Behavior Technician to work one on one with a child in the Middletown/Keansburg, NJ area. You'll work with the same child on a consistent weekly schedule, following an individualized ABA program under ongoing BCBA supervision.

What you'll do

- Provide one on one ABA therapy in the child's home

- Teach communication, social, play and daily living skills

- Follow individualized skill acquisition and behavior intervention programs

- Use reinforcement and prompting strategies

- Collect accurate session data and complete electronic session notes

- Communicate regularly with your supervising BCBA

What you'll bring

- Previous ABA experience preferred

- Experience with children with autism or developmental disabilities, as an ABA Therapist, Behavior Technician, RBT, paraprofessional, special education aide or similar

- Dependable and able to keep a consistent weekly schedule

- Strong communication and documentation skills

- Reliable transportation for in home sessions
