Travel Physical Therapist Assistant Opportunity

Make a real difference as a travel Physical Therapist Assistant in Portsmouth, NH, working in home health. You will carry out treatment, implementation, and documentation of patient status for home health patients under the direction of a licensed physical therapist according to physician orders. The role requires reliable transportation for home visits, a current driver's license, and agency-required liability insurance. Periodic office meetings are required.

Minimum qualifications include:

• Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited educational program.
• Active state PTA license required to start the assignment in the state of practice.
• Current CPR certification.
• Familiarity with general computer functions including internet, e-mail, navigation of desktop, starting programs, using files, and basic online HR and training systems.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license for home visits.
• Agency-required liability insurance as applicable.
• Client-specific: experience with home health settings and home visits. Must be able to work under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• State-specific requirements apply where relevant. Candidates must meet the licensing and experience requirements of the hiring state prior to assignment start.

Preferred qualifications include:

• Two to three years of experience as a licensed PTA, preferred for managing a home health caseload where indicated by state rules.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC preferred.

Assignment details include:

• Shift name: Evenings.
• Work involves home visits and periodic office meetings.
