Forklift Material handler

Responsabilidades Clave

• Operación de Equipo: Operar de manera segura un montacargas sentado (de propano o eléctrico) para mover, apilar y organizar materiales pesados y paletas.

• Carga y Descarga: Descargar eficientemente los envíos entrantes y cargar los remolques salientes, asegurando la distribución del peso y la estabilidad de la carga.

• Gestión de Inventario: Utilizar escáneres de radiofrecuencia (RF) para rastrear el movimiento de materiales y mantener registros de inventario digitales precisos.

• Inspecciones de Seguridad: Realizar inspecciones diarias previas al turno en el equipo (revisión de fluidos, neumáticos y controles) e informar cualquier problema mecánico de inmediato.

• Mantenimiento del Almacén: Mantener el muelle de carga y los pasillos de almacenamiento limpios, organizados y libres de riesgos.

• Colaboración en Equipo: Coordinar con el líder de envíos y el personal de producción para cumplir con las metas diarias de rendimiento.

Responsibilities

• Equipment Operation: Safely operate a sit-down propane or electric forklift to move, stack, and stage heavy materials and pallets.

• Loading & Unloading: Efficiently unload incoming shipments and load outgoing trailers, ensuring weight distribution and load stability.

• Inventory Management: Use RF scanners to track material movement and maintain accurate digital inventory records.

• Safety Inspections: Perform daily pre-shift inspections on equipment (checking fluids, tires, and controls) and report any mechanical issues immediately.

• Warehouse Maintenance: Keep the shipping dock and storage aisles clean, organized, and free of hazards.

• Team Collaboration: Coordinate with the shipping lead and production staff to meet daily output goals.
