The Iowa Primary Care Association is actively recruiting a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide care at a vibrant community health center (FQHC) and oversee patients in the HIV Program in Des Moines, IA ! As part of Primary Health Care, Inc's program The Project, this role will work with a variety of patients who are at risk or living with HIV alongside Case Managers in an integrated care setting.

Position Highlights:

• Work/Life Balance: flexible schedule within clinic hours of 8:00a-5:00p with no call & no weekends
• Full-Time Role : 40 hours/week seeing on average 20 patients per day
• Financial Support: Eligible for student loan repayment through state & federal programs
• Competitive Salary: $92,400-$138,600 depending upon experience
• EHR: Ochin Epic

Requirements:

What you’ll need

• 1 year of clinical experience preferred
• Bilingual in English & Spanish preferred

Nurse Practitioner:

• Graduation from an accredited/approved NP program
• Licensed by the Iowa Board of Nursing as a NP

Physician Assistant:

• Graduation from an accredited AMA-approved PA program and/or certified by the National Commission on the Certification of Physician Assistants.
• Licensed by the Iowa Board of Professional Licensure; licensed to practice in Iowa.
