Step into a rewarding contract opportunity serving K–12 students as an onsite Speech-Language Pathologist. You’ll work with a diverse caseload, providing critical support to children and adolescents who benefit from your expertise and commitment. The position offers a steady 35 hours per week schedule and is available for immediate start, allowing you to make an impact right away.
In this role, you will:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders within a K–12 school setting
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs
- Collaborate with special education staff, teachers, and families to maximize student progress
- Maintain thorough documentation in accordance with state and district guidelines
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to ongoing student evaluations
Qualifications:
- Valid New York State Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license required
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Experience with school-aged children and familiarity with IEP processes
- Knowledge of state and federal education regulations pertaining to special education services
