Job description:


A Journeyman Mold maker is a skilled professional that has gone through the proper schooling and training to obtain a journeyman's certification tool and die. Who can interpret engineering drawings, sets up and operate various machine tools (including CNC machines), to build and repair precision molds, tools, dies, jigs, fixtures, and gauges, ensuring high quality and tight tolerances by accurately measuring and inspecting completed work, while adhering to company standards. The ability to manage the timeline and workload of multiple projects through various departments by communicating with managers and department leaders. Works well in a team environment and can direct the team members working for them to be successful in meeting customer needs.

• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and part prints.
• Operate and understand CAD/CAM software.
• Conversational, M Code, G Code
• Cimatron, Work NC, Powermill, MasterCam
• Problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
• Develop strategies to meet project goals and objectives.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to work well under pressure.
• Ensure all safety guidelines are adhered to and recommend improvements where necessary.

We are seeking:

• A Journeyman Mold maker with at least 4+ years of experience.
• Experience in die cast dies and/or precision plastic injection molds.
• The ability to build and manage multiple projects from start to finish.
• Responsible for assembly/disassembly and verification of final fit and function.
• Works with supervisors and managers to achieve on time delivery.
• Has the ability to run CNC machines.
