Registered Nurse - SICU

Job Description - Registered Nurse - SICU (7418-4571) Description The SICU provides critical intensive care to Medical and Surgical patient and will when needed care for Cardiac patients. Therapies include, but are not limited to, vasoactive drug administration, anti-arrhythmic drug administration, thrombolytic therapy and ventilator support. Monitoring includes Swan-Ganz, central venous pressure, arterial lines, electrocardiogram, and bedside glucose monitoring, parenteral and enteral nutritional support, continous renal replacement therapy (CRRT), peritoneal dialysis, and acute hemodialysis performed by a hemodialysis nurse. The nurses are trained in critical care, neurological examination and the use of the invasive and non-invasive equipment. Qualifications Graduate of a School of Nursing / College Nursing Education Program Current licensure by the West Virginia State Board of Nursing. Pass pre-employment medication test with a score of 80% or better. #J-18808-Ljbffr
