RN - Stepdown

Registered Nurse (RN)The Registered Nurse will provide high-quality patient care in a stepdown unit, focusing on the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care. This position involves collaboration with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in a stepdown setting.Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.Monitor patient progress and make adjustments to care plans as necessary.Educate patients and their families regarding health conditions and ongoing care.Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient management.Ensure compliance with all nursing and healthcare regulations and standards.QualificationsMinimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a relevant healthcare setting.Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS.Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Work ScheduleThis position operates on a night shift schedule from 7 PM to 7 AM, with every other weekend required and the potential to float to other areas as needed.Additional InformationThe role may require adaptation to changing patient needs and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented setting.Client Details City Oxnard State CA
