Job Opportunity Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance (BHSI) has an exciting opportunity for an experienced underwriter to join the U.S. Central Region Property team based in Chicago, IL. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and underwriting property business across the U.S. Central region marketplace and play a pivotal role in growing the General Property portfolio. The individual will analyze property risk exposures of new and renewal business to make sound underwriting decisions. Additionally, the underwriter will be responsible for profitably developing and growing the portfolio through production and marketing calls with brokers and customers. The title of the role will be commensurate with the level of experience of the successful candidate. Total compensation for a candidate is determined by their relevant skills, location, and experience.
