Also maintains the position of direct caregiver and patient educator.Essential Job FunctionsGeneral nursing care for assigned patientsMonitoring of medical conditions of cancer patients undergoing radiation therapyAssessment of clinical needs & medication managementAssistance with consultations with physicians regarding patient careProvision of patient & family education regarding radiation therapy and possible side effects of cancer treatmentAssistance in patient assessment & interventionManagement of patient navigation and follow up activitiesAccurate phone triage to the correct department for patientsAdminister injection per oncology physician requestRespond to patients request in KAIKU portal and phone triageResponsible for all Genomic test ordersObtaining prior authorization for specialty medicationsRequirementsRegistered Nurse (RN) experience in a clinical settingBachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)Current Florida Registered Nursing LicenseBLS/ACLS CertificationsStrong patient care skillsExcellent communication skillsHours: Monday-Friday 9:00am-5:30pm
