Quality Assurance / Shipping & Receiving Clerk (Direct Hire) Hazelwood, Mo.

We are seeking a motivated Quality Assurance / Shipping & Receiving Clerk to support both our Quality Control and Shipping departments. Position Overview

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a variety of responsibilities, takes pride in producing quality work, and can effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will assist with inspections, shipping and receiving activities, inventory management, and support of the company's ISO 9001 Quality Management System.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect parts using precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges
• Perform inspections using equipment including CMMs, comparators, and vision systems
• Ensure products meet quality standards and customer specifications
• Support shipping and receiving operations, including packaging and preparing shipments
• Assist with loading and unloading deliveries
• Maintain inventory of hardware, components, and supplies
• Support ISO 9001 quality processes, internal audits, and quality objectives
• Work closely with production and department leaders to meet daily goals
• Promote a safe, productive, and team-oriented work environment
• Complete additional duties as assigned to support business operations

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Quality Assurance role
• Experience with shipping and receiving operations preferred
• Understanding of metalworking, machining, or metal stamping environments
• Ability to read and use precision measuring equipment
• Strong problem-solving and mathematical skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
• Self-motivated with strong organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to work occasional overtime or weekends as needed

Job Type: Full-Time

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8-hour shifts
