Senior Project Manager – Commercial ConstructionLocation: Mobile, ALA well-established commercial general contractor is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join its growing Mobile, Alabama operation.This is an opportunity to take a lead role with a respected contractor known for long-standing client relationships, repeat business, and delivering high-quality commercial construction throughout the Southeast. The Senior Project Manager will oversee projects from preconstruction through closeout while serving as the primary point of contact for owners, design teams, subcontractors, and internal field leadership.What You'll DoManage multiple commercial construction projects from preconstruction through completionLead project planning, scheduling, budgeting, forecasting, and cost controlManage subcontractor procurement, buyout, contracts, and change ordersCoordinate closely with Superintendents and field teams to maintain schedule, quality, and safety expectationsManage RFIs, submittals, owner changes, pay applications, and project documentationLead owner and subcontractor meetingsIdentify project risks and resolve issues before they impact schedule or budgetMaintain strong relationships with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and vendorsProvide leadership and mentorship to Project Managers, Assistant Project Managers, and Project EngineersEnsure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard of qualityProject ExperienceIdeal candidates will have experience managing ground-up commercial construction projects such as:Industrial / warehouse / distributionRetailMedical and officeCorporate facilitiesInstitutional projectsTenant improvements and interiorsDesign-build projectsWhat We're Looking For7+ years of commercial construction project management experiencePrior experience as a Project Manager or Senior Project Manager with a commercial general contractorStrong ground-up construction experienceProven ability to manage project financials, schedules, subcontractors, and client relationshipsStrong understanding of construction contracts, drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals, and change managementExcellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skillsBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Building Science, or related field preferredWhy Consider This Opportunity?This is more than a role managing individual projects.
