Job Description Job Description Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Carhaul CDL Company Driver specializing in Car Hauler operations to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely transporting vehicles across various routes using specialized tractor-trailers designed for car hauling. Your expertise will ensure timely deliveries while maintaining the highest safety standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a professional fleet, showcasing your driving skills and commitment to excellence in vehicle transportation. Currenlty we are seeking 1 full time stinger driver and 1 full time high mount driver. Both trucks are brand new. Duties Safely operate tractor-trailers equipped for car hauling, Load and unload vehicles efficiently. Drive route-specific deliveries, adhering to schedules and traffic regulations to ensure timely arrivals at designated destinations Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck and trailer. Secure vehicles properly on the trailer using straps, chains, or other securing devices to prevent movement during transit Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, vehicle inspections, and delivery documentation in compliance with federal and state regulations Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding route updates, delivery status, and any issues encountered during transport Conduct vehicles inspection on each unit when load and unloading. OTR 5-6 days/ week if required . Drivers will not be required to reset on the road. Must reside in the Salt Lake City area Pass random drug and alchool tests Criminal background check required Experience Proven experience in commercial truck driving, particularly with tractor-trailers used for vehicle transport. Prior experience with route driving, load & unload procedures Valid CDL (Commercial Driver’s License) minimum 3 year CDL experience required with no prior convictions. Familiarity with safety protocols related to car hauler operations and vehicle securing techniques Strong understanding of federal and state transportation regulations governing commercial driving Vaild passport and williness to excute routes into Canada is condisidered an asset.
