Job Description

Position: Registered Nurse – Emergency Department (ED/ER)

Shift: AM / Days

Schedule: 3 × 12-hour shifts, 36 hours/week

Alternative Schedule: 4 × 12-hour shifts may be available

Contract Length: 13 weeks

PAY PACKAGE:

Gross Weekly: $2600 - $2700 for 36hrs/week

Experience Requirements

\n
• Minimum 2 years of recent ED or ICU experience
\n
• Required experience must be post-orientation
\n
• Must be comfortable caring for high-acuity and unstable patients
\n
• Strong critical care and emergency nursing skills required
\n
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing patient conditions and unit needs
\n

Required Certifications

\n
• BLS – Basic Life Support
\n
• ACLS – Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support
\n

Key Responsibilities

\n
• Assess, prioritize, and provide nursing care to patients with varying levels of acuity.
\n
• Manage multiple patients while maintaining safe and effective care.
\n
• Recognize and respond appropriately to rapidly deteriorating or critically ill patients.
\n
• Provide emergency and critical care interventions according to established protocols.
\n
• Monitor vital signs, cardiac rhythms, laboratory results, and changes in patient condition.
\n
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
\n
• Collaborate closely with physicians, advanced practice providers, respiratory therapists, and other members of the multidisciplinary care team.
\n
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
\n
• Follow infection-control, patient-safety, and emergency-care standards.
\n
• Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in a large, high-volume, fast-paced ED environment .
