About the Position

Job Title: MRI Technologist Profession: Allied Specialty: Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 10hr Night Shift Hours per Shift: 40 Experience: 1 year MRI experience minimum, will accept acute or outpatient License: BLS Certifications: ARRT-MR or ARMRIT Must-Have: Experience with above patient types. Setting up suction and operating O2. Understanding MRI safety and knowledge of what can and cannot go into the bore with patients. Handling critical and ventilated patients. Placing patients on MR telemetry and administering contrast. Critical thinking skills and ability to care for confused patients. Punctuality. IV skills preferred if position is for days. Description: Join a team as an MRI Technologist. This role involves working with a range of patient types, including stroke and internal auditory canal cases. You will be responsible for performing MRI exams, providing patient care, and ensuring safety protocols are followed. Patience and compassion when dealing with patients are essential. You will be working solo as an MRI Technologist during the night shift, supported by an MRI assistant. The role requires a hands-on approach to patient care and technical skills in MRI operation. Must be prepared to work rotating weekends and on-call shifts. Holiday coverage will also be part of the responsibilities.
