Job Summary The Registered Nurse (RN) is a professional caregiver who assumes responsibility and accountability for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care of patients. The staff RN utilizes the nursing process by integrating technology, therapeutic intervention, evidence‑based practice, and coordination of care with other health team members. Position Details Cardiovascular OR RN – Operating Room Shift: 10 hours/day, Monday‑Friday with variable days and call; some nights, weekends, and holidays. Hourly Range: $36.71 – $56.17 (dependent on experience) Key Responsibilities Recognize and address patients’ psychological and physical needs. Foster continuity and quality of care with the best interest and well‑being of patients and their families in mind. Assess a patient’s medical status upon admission. Assist in developing individualized treatment plans. Comply with evaluation, treatment, and documentation guidelines. Qualifications BSN from an accredited program. Current Colorado RN license or a compact license with the ability to obtain the Colorado RN license, required. Current BLS certification endorsed by the American Heart Association or the ability to obtain it within 60 days of hire (ACLS/NRP/PALS as appropriate). Required. At least one (1) year of Cardiothoracic nursing experience in a comparable acute care/surgical services setting, highly preferred.
