Key Responsibilities of the Med Surg RN

• Provide direct and individualized nursing care to patients
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Monitor, record, and communicate patient conditions as appropriate
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to plan and evaluate patient care
• Educate patients and their families on health conditions and care protocols

Requirements of the Med Surg RN

• Valid RN license
• Experience in an acute medical unit preferred
• Strong clinical skills and knowledge of surgical procedures
• Ability to work night shifts
