Join Our Growing Neurology Clinic in Frisco, TX!

We are looking for either an experienced Medical Assistant or a pre-med student taking a gap year to join our practice. This position may involve occasional reimbursed travel to our other clinic locations around the metroplex.

We are looking for a candidate who is detail-oriented and focused on patient care, and candidates should be able to promote a compassionate culture by operating in a professional and collaborative fashion with patients and colleagues. This medical assistant position is full time, in person, and duties include but are not limited to the following:

• checking patients in and out
• verifying patient information
• rooming patients and checking vitals
• verifying patient information
• medication reconciliation
• scheduling and performing non-invasive neurological procedures
• maintaining equipment and inventory
• handling inbound and outbound phone calls
• cleaning and preparing patient rooms
• scanning and processing documents
• occasional reimbursed travel to other clinic locations
• assisting medical assistants and providers in other locations through eClinicalWorks
• communicating clearly with providers, managers, and coworkers

Qualifications:

• Fluency in both English and Spanish is preferred, but not required
• Ability to maintain confidentiality & HIPAA compliance
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks effectively
• Demonstrates critical thinking skills
• Ability to work cooperatively and effectively with others
• Displays a neat, clean, professional appearance and demeanor

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
