Registered Nurse - CVOR

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Day Shift: 5x8-Hour (06:00 - 14:30)

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse specializing in Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) procedures. The RN will provide high-quality care to patients undergoing surgical interventions related to cardiovascular conditions.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in cardiac surgical procedures including but not limited to Coronary Artery Bypass Graft (CABG), Valve replacements, and Aortic Aneurysm repairs.
• Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to universal protocol for patient safety.
• Monitor patient vitals and report any changes in condition to the surgical team.
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Provide pre-operative and post-operative care to patients.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Current California RN License.
• Minimum of 1 year of previous charge experience.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) certifications required.
• Experience with Epic charting system preferred.
