You will be responsible for developing robust ETL/ELT pipelines, scaling our data lake, and ensuring high-performance data delivery for analytics and machine learning teams. Your primary focus will be leveraging native AWS services to manage large-scale, secure, and cost-effective data environments.Day to Day job Duties:Pipeline Development: Build, scale, and maintain automated, fault-tolerant ETL/ELT data pipelines.Data Lake Management: Design and optimize data storage layers for unstructured, semi-structured, and structured data.Performance Tuning: Monitor, optimize, and troubleshoot complex data queries to reduce processing times and AWS costs.Data Modeling: Develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models tailored for analytical and operational use cases.Data Governance & Security: Implement strict data access controls, encryption, and data quality frameworks across all pipelines.Collaboration: Partner with Data Scientists, Business Analysts, and Software Engineers to deliver clean, production-ready datasetsBasic Qualifications:2+ years’ experience in AWS Glue,EMR,Athena, andRedshift.3+ years’ experiencein ofS3,EC2, and serverless processing usingAWS Lambda.3+ years’ experienceinPythonorScala, and advancedSQL.2+ years’ experience in Apache Sparkor PySpark.Preferred Qualifications:AWS Certified Data Engineer – Associate/Professional or AWS Certified Big Data Specialty.Experience with real-time streaming data usingAWS Kinesisor Apache Kafka.Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, AWS CodePipeline).
