We are actively seeking a PROJECT ENGINEER (Heavy Construction and Building Construction) for immediate openings in our Chicagoland office, with HQ in Elgin, IL. This Project Engineer position focuses on Heavy Construction (bridge work/infrastructure/plant & process) or Building Construction (school and municipal markets) and is based at either our Elgin, IL corporate office, or a project site in NE Illinois. Ideal candidate Has a degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a similar field of study, or has qualifying experience Is willing to work in both a field and office setting Is computer literate and willing to work with multiple project management, estimating, and scheduling software systems Is an ambitious individual with the desire to advance within the Company Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities Assist Project Manager and Site Superintendent Submittal Review and Processing Request for Information Processing Requesting Change Order Information from Subcontractors Drawing Documentation #J-18808-Ljbffr IHC Construction Companies LLC
