Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Department Duration: 12 weeks Shift: 13:00-01:00 Hours per Shift: 36 hours guaranteed Experience: 1+ years License: Nursing license required for practice in Tennessee Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH, PALS Must-Have Skills/Experience: ER experience Description: Providing quality health care to the community for 60 years. Employing more than 1,000 individuals and 300 physicians. Fully accredited and governed by a local board of trustees. This facility is one of the largest non-government employers in the county. It is a 167-bed healthcare facility with Level III Trauma Center status. General checks are required for clinical staff on assignment in the state. Candidates must be checked against the Abuse Registry prior to assignment. Results of the checks are required before the start date. The emergency department serves all ages of patients. Friday and weekend hours may be required every other week or as needed. Call requirements are as needed by the department. Personality fit includes being professional, willing to learn, and a team player. A respect for department expectations is essential. Candidates must hold the required education and licensure for the RN role. Dress code includes scrubs of any color, with no casual wear allowed. This position is to replace permanent staff.
