Contract Details

Position Type: Contract
Contract Duration: 3 months
Pay Rate: $35.00 / Hour (USD)
Shift / Schedule: Evenings, 3:00 PM 11:30 PM, 5 8s, 40 hours per week, rotating weekends

Job Summary

This is a travel Sterile Processing Technician role requiring travel experience, with the technician covering both Endoscopy and SPD (Sterile Processing Department). The candidate must have a minimum of 3 years of experience. Leadership experience is preferred but not required.

Key Responsibilities

Cover both Endoscopy processing and Sterile Processing Department (SPD)
Perform sterile processing duties including high-level disinfection and sterilization of endoscopy equipment
Work evening shift (3:00 PM 11:30 PM), 5 8s, 40 hours per week, with rotating weekends

Required Skills

Minimum 3 years of sterile processing experience
Strong Sterile Processing Department (SPD) technician skills
Endoscopy processing experience
CST background with high sterile processing experience
BLS certification (required)
CBSPD or HSPA certification (required)
Travel experience required

Preferred Skills

Leadership experience (preferred but not required)

Education Requirements

BLS certification required
CBSPD (Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution) or HSPA (Healthcare Sterile Processing Association) certification required

Required Experience

Minimum 3 years of sterile processing experience
Travel assignment experience required
