Strategic Initiatives & Support Specialist (Program Assistant) Salary: $40,269 – $49,330 per year Application deadline: June 26, 2026 Under general supervision, the Strategic Initiatives & Support Specialist provides support to the School of Education by coordinating student‑focused initiatives, assisting with assessment and accreditation reporting, and delivering essential office support services. The position plays a key role in advancing the School’s mission by engaging with prospective candidates, supporting compliance and data processes, and ensuring efficient daily operations. Key Responsibilities Strategic Initiatives: assist with candidate engagement activities, serve as point of contact for prospective candidates and families, coordinate logistics for special initiatives, maintain communication records, prepare informational materials, and support the School’s social media to promote programs. Compliance: support accreditation and assessment functions, organize and track data for state and federal reports, enter data into the HelioCampus assessment system, aid the Assessment Coordinator with data entry and reporting, assist the Field Placement Coordinator with internship documentation, and support monthly administrative tasks related to internship processes. Administrative Support: provide scheduling, correspondence, document preparation, and budget tracking; assist with hiring paperwork and personnel processing in coordination with Human Resources; coordinate office supplies and maintain purchase records; represent the School professionally in interactions with candidates, faculty, staff, and external partners. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or GED. At least 1 year of job‑related experience. Strong organizational and time‑management skills. Professionalism, approachability, and excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Proficiency with Mac and PC platforms, Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat/Creative Suite, and computer data‑management systems. Self‑starter who can work independently and manage multiple responsibilities while meeting deadlines. Strong problem‑solving skills and a customer‑service orientation. Ability to collaborate with faculty, staff, and external partners.
