Qualifications and Experience:

• Active Illinois Occupational Therapy License
• Experience or interest in school-based occupational therapy preferred
• Aptitude for working with elementary and middle school students
• Strong communication, collaboration, and record-keeping abilities
• Skilled in adapting interventions to meet diverse student needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized and group occupational therapy services to elementary and middle school students
• Assess students, develop treatment plans, and document progress in accordance with school district procedures
• Collaborate with educators and multidisciplinary teams to integrate therapy into each student’s educational plan
• Communicate with families to support therapy goals and address questions or concerns
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to a positive, inclusive learning environment
• Maintain thorough records and comply with all documentation requirements

This contract position is full-time (40 hours per week, 5 days per week) with an immediate start date through June 3, 2027.
