Pet Aftercare Transportation Specialist

At Pet Meadow: Rockville, our Transportation Specialist serve as the primary connection between veterinary hospitals, pet families, and our aftercare teams. This position combines safe and reliable transportation responsibilities with professional client service, relationship management, and chain-of-custody excellence. This is not a traditional driving position. Our Transportation Specialist & Client Service Representatives are trusted partners to veterinary professionals and ambassadors of the Pet Meadow brand in the communities we serve. Responsibilities Safely operate company vehicles along established service routes. Perform the respectful transfer and transportation of pets entrusted to our care. Maintain accurate chain-of-custody documentation and identification procedures. Build and maintain positive relationships with veterinary hospitals and clinic teams. Communicate professionally with clients, hospital personnel, and internal teams. Identify and elevate service concerns, operational issues, and client opportunities. Uphold company appearance, safety, and service standards at all times. Represent Pet Meadow with compassion, professionalism, and integrity. Required Skills & Experience Valid driver's license and clean driving record. Ability to lift and transport pets safely and respectfully. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Customer service, veterinary, healthcare, hospitality, funeral service, or transportation experience preferred. Ability to work independently while maintaining strong accountability and professionalism. Passion for serving others during meaningful and emotional moments.
