Job Description!!New Grads are encouraged to apply!!\n\nPosition: Physician Assistant\nLocation: Bronx, NY\nSchedule: Monday–Friday\n\nJob Summary\nOur Client is seeking a skilled and compassionate Physician Assistant (PA) to join its Neurology team in the Bronx, NY. The Neuro Physician Assistant will work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients with neurological conditions.\nThe ideal candidate will have strong clinical assessment skills, excellent communication abilities, and experience caring for patients with acute and chronic neurological conditions. The PA will assist with diagnosis, treatment planning, patient education, follow-up care, and coordination of services under physician direction.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\n Evaluate patients with neurological conditions and obtain comprehensive medical histories.\n Perform physical and neurological examinations and document clinical findings accurately.\n Assist physicians with the diagnosis and management of neurological disorders.\n Order and review appropriate diagnostic tests, laboratory studies, and imaging as directed.\n Monitor patients' clinical progress and response to treatment.\n Develop and implement patient care plans in collaboration with supervising physicians.\n Prescribe medications and treatments in accordance with New York State regulations and physician supervision.\n Provide patient and family education regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care.\n Perform routine clinical procedures as appropriate to the patient's condition.\n Recognize changes in neurological status and promptly communicate significant findings to the physician.\n Assist with the management of patients experiencing neurological emergencies.\n Maintain accurate and timely medical records using EMR systems.\n Coordinate care with neurologists, primary care providers, nurses, therapists, and other healthcare professionals.\n Provide compassionate, patient-centered care while maintaining professional standards.\n Participate in follow-up visits and ongoing management of patients with neurological conditions.\n\n\nQualifications & Requirements\n\n Master's Degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.\n Active New York State Physician Assistant license.\n\n
