Job description:
- 7+ years of experience in the electric utility industry, with at least 3 years focused on CIM design and implementation.
- Proven experience with IEC 61970 and IEC 61968 standards and their application in utility environments.
- Hands-on experience with data modeling tools (e.g., Sparx Enterprise Architect, CIMTool) and data exchange formats (e.g., XML, RDF, JSON).
- Familiarity with utility systems such as SCADA, DMS, EMS, GIS, or OMS (Outage Management System).
- Lead CIM Strategy & Architecture by designing and governing CIM-compliant data models aligned with utility business and operational needs.
- Drive System Integration & Interoperability across enterprise applications, ensuring seamless data exchange using IEC View phone number on us.fitly.work standards.
- Provide Technical Leadership & Stakeholder Engagement by guiding engineering teams and collaborating with business, IT, and operations stakeholders.
- Establish Model Governance & Quality Assurance through lifecycle management, validation, version control, documentation, and compliance processes.
- Support Grid Modernization & Innovation by leveraging CIM for digital transformation, advanced analytics, and emerging utility technologies
Skills:
- Network Analysis Model (NAM) maintenance on OSI EMS
- RTU database creation and maintenance
- TMS database modelling
- One-line display support
- EMS / SCADA / TMS
- CIM knowledge is one of the most important areas because the SOW requires Network Analysis Model maintenance, RTU database creation, and TMS database modeling on OSI EMS systems
