Server/Bartender

Pinehurst Country Club Server/Bartender Position

Pinehurst Country Club is seeking a skilled, personable, and detail-oriented Server/Bartender to provide top-tier service to our members. This position is responsible for greeting customers, recommending menu items, properly serving food and beverages, and delivering premier country club experience while upholding Pinehurst Country Club's standards of excellence.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Be punctual and maintain a neat, clean uniform.
• Follow set-up procedures.
• Possess knowledge of all items on food menus, bar menus, and wine lists.
• Input all orders into the POS system.
• Collect member numbers and process payments.
• Set up and tear down for breakfast, lunch, dinner, club social functions, and private parties.
• Organize and pace meal courses for member dining.
• Clean after all designated meals and parties.
• Possess knowledge of principles, values, and processes for providing exceptional guest service.
• Attend staff meetings, including pre-shift (line-up) sessions and training as required.
• Complete pre-closing requirements.
• Complete other appropriate work assignments as requested by a supervisor.
• Follow all club policies, safety procedures, and service standards.

Qualifications

• Serve Safe beverage certification preferred.
• Food safety certification required.
• Must be of legal age to prepare and serve alcoholic beverages.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
• Frequent lifting, bending, climbing, stooping, and pulling.
• Ability to stand on feet for long periods of time (8-10 hours).
• Must be able to adapt to constant changes, such as menu changes, POS changes, and section changes.
• Available to work weekends and holidays.

Schedule

• Regular part-time schedule.
• Flexible schedule including weekdays, weekends, holidays, and special events.

Compensation: $21.00/hour
