Lead Clinician

Lead Clinician Overview Join the Lawrence CJSC as a Lead Clinician to provide support for justice‑involved individuals. In this role you shape the team and actively participate in treatment planning and goal setting for clients. Responsibilities Ensure all casework services are consistent with the operating policies of the Office of Community Corrections (OCC) and other regulatory agencies. Promote and lead a culture of learning and respect that aligns with the agency mission and strategic plan, while empowering staff to meet the mission. Ensure participant documents, including intake materials and records from supervising agencies such as Probation, Parole, and the Sheriff’s Department, are properly placed in participant files. Complete intake assessments using tools such as LS/RNR, TCUDS, and others; assess risks, responsivity needs, and develop treatment plans for each assigned participant. Ensure that treatment plans and transition goals are completed and reviewed monthly, and provide feedback to participants. Review and finalize the weekly Utilization Report. Make necessary referrals to outside agencies or departments and case‑manage community‑based services. Conduct regular check‑ins with participants and document interactions in client notes. Assign and track completion of Client Behavioral Interventions (CBIs) as needed. Create an aftercare/discharge plan for each assigned participant. Facilitate CBT manualized groups to fidelity and conduct group audits. Utilize technology for programming needs, including virtual meetings/groups or hybrid models. Maintain participant data and information in the Client Information Management System (CIMS). Audit clinical files and oversee the process for making corrections when necessary. Transport or conduct drug testing on participants when staffing deficiencies arise. Participate in all meetings and trainings as requested by supervisors. Facilitate clinical meetings and provide supervision to staff during the absence of supervisory personnel. Assist the Director in interviewing and training new staff as needed. Participate in program development or other administrative activities as required. Learn and demonstrate respect for the roles of other agencies (OCC, Sheriff’s Department, Parole, Probation, etc.). Actively participate in the annual performance evaluation process of the Center. Collect and document urine screens as needed. Perform other job responsibilities as assigned or directed by supervisors. Provide training and supervision to college interns, volunteers, and/or new staff as needed. #J-18808-Ljbffr
