divh2MHE2 Weekend Shift/h2p$20.50/hour plus $3.00 shift differential/ppDescription of the Position: Operates gasoline-, liquefied gas-, or electric-powered industrial equipment equipped with lifting devices, such as sit-down, stand-up, clamp or other elevating equipment to push, pull, lift, stack, tier, or move products, equipment, or materials in distribution center or storage yard./ppResponsibilities:/pulliLoad, unload, move, stock, and stage products and materials using powered industrial equipment. Maintain equipment and materials in a neat, clean and orderly fashion. On a daily basis, inspect assigned equipment. Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner following prescribed work methods and OSHA standards./liliUnload inbound shipments safely and move product to storage locations. Efficiently stack and store product in the appropriate areas./liliPull and prepare products for shipment, ensuring the exact number and types of products are loaded and shipped./liliEfficiently move product from staging and/or storage areas into rail cars, trailers, or containers./liliEnsure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage. Report quality variances./liliKeep appropriate records and reports to guarantee that tight inventory control and security are maintained. Assist in physical inventories. Ensure proper stock rotation./liliFollow customer requirements and/or other instructions to ensure accuracy: load count, stability of product, and that all products are loaded and unloaded safely./liliCoordinate as necessary with all other departments/functions, especially Customer Service, Transportation and Maintenance./liliPerform good housekeeping practices, clean as you go process./liliConduct operations and equipment in a manner that promotes safety and report unsafe conditions that cant be self-corrected to the leadership team./liliFollow corporate and site-specific Good Manufacturing Practices and report noncompliance when observed./liliObserve all company safety rules and assist in enforcement as appropriate./liliOther duties as assigned./li/ululliHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED); three or more years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience./liliMust be able to successfully complete post-hire assessments./liliMust be able to obtain and maintain equipment certifications (e.g. OSHA, company, etc.)./liliMust be able to wear personal protective equipment appropriate for the work environment (e.g. protective footwear, protective eyewear, gloves, etc.) in accordance with safety policies./li/ul/div
