Nantucket Aquatics Assistant Swim Coach

Terms of Employment This is a part‑time, year‑round position up to 19 hours per week. The hourly rate is $25 to $35 per hour for coaching commensurate with experience. Job Summary The assistant coach will work alongside the head swim coach to oversee practices and travel swim meets. The ideal candidate will have experience working with both beginner and advanced‑level swimmers. The swim season runs from September to July, with practices after school from 3:00 pm to 5:30 pm. Additionally, applicants must be willing to work Saturday hours and travel to monthly off‑island competitions. Qualifications Background in competitive swimming Experience coaching competitive swimming Experience working with youth athletes Lifeguard and CPR certified (or willingness to obtain) USS Coaching Certification (or willingness to obtain) Application Position opened until filled.
