Registered Vet Tech

Our practice is looking for a Registered Veterinary Technician for our team! We promote a happy work environment by treating each employee like family. The ideal candidate has 1-2 years' experience working as a Veterinary Technician, is licensed in the state of Kansas, is able to place IV catheters, intubate patients for surgery and is comfortable with client education and communication. Requirements/Qualifications: MUST be State licensed to work as a certified/licensed/registered veterinary technician in Kansas. Ability to lift patients and carry equipment up to 25 pounds; ability to lift patients or carry equipment over 25 pounds with assistance. Practice OSHA safety techniques including proper PPE. Basic computer skills, familiarity with MS office applications, etc. Basic math and ability to calculate medication dosages. Strong communication skills to ensure patient safety. Experience Veterinary experience: 1 year (Required) Veterinary Technician Certification (Required) or will have within 90 days of hiring. We're seeking an RVT with at least ONE year of experience; a demonstrated commitment to animal welfare and health as well as a genuine love for animals and vet medicine. A successful candidate will be able to provide hands-on assistance to patients and perform basic medical procedures. We're looking for a registered licensed vet tech.
